Hotel Lobby

Hotel Lobby
Here you truly have a captive audience! We suggest you aim for middle to upper class hotels or business class hotels. You will get a disc with our software that you can install on your laptop computer. This way you can demonstrate to the manager or decison maker how your program works without actually having to lug a 150 lb. kiosk into their office! Most hotels have wifi internet services, allowing you to give a web presentation of our product.
We've discovered that most hotels will not charge you to place the kiosk in their lobby. They find the informational nature of the kiosk to be a great service that you are providing to them. Offer to place their hotel guest services on the kiosk at no charge. Then began finding your advertisers.
See who is already advertising in or near the hotel. Look around for information literature racks in or near the hotel with advertisements for restaurants, tourist attractions, shows, nightlife, zoos, museums, etc. You may want to contact the literature rack advertising company to see if you can work out a partnership agreement. Also, be sure to ask the hotel operator for leads which - an excellent way to open the door to your potential advertisers.

Shopping Mall
The other obvious location is a shopping mall. These can be great because once you are in the mall, you have a TON of potential advertisers seeking to grab every person who walks through the mall, and your kiosk could be just the thing for them. As with the hotels, first speak with the mall manager/operator. See what kind of deal you can get. They may want to charge you a flat monthly fee, which may be better in the long run, but we would recommend shooting for a percentage as with the hotels.
If you find that one location in the mall is working good, you may even want to consider putting one or two more kiosks in the same mall, and offering discounts to the retailers for advertising in each kiosk. Your imagination is the limit!
The Information Station will help you with locations by having a website targeted toward Hotel and Mall operators, extolling the virtues of having Information Station kiosks at their site. As they inquire, we will forward their requests for information to you if they are in your area.

Brazil Hotels

Everything in Brazil is exotic, spectacular and big. Hotels in Brazil are no different in this regard. Indeed, Brazil has some of the most amazing hotels in the world. Among the luxury hotels Brazil has are some of the most sort after by celebrities and movie-stars. This is not to say though that cheap Brazil hotels are not available. Like everything in Brazil, hotels in Brazil cater to all travelers to this special land. In order to help you in your search through hotels in Brazil, listed below are three hotels for each of Brazil"s main cities - one luxury, one mid-priced, and one cheap Brazil hotel.
Brazil Hotels - Brasilia Although Brasilia is the capital of Brazil, as neither its commercial nor tourist center, Brazil hotels in Brasilia are neither the most elegant, nor the cheapest, hotels Brazil has to offer. That said, the following three will hopefully meet all your needs during your stay in the capital of Brazil:
* Hotel Nacional Brasilia This 346 bedroom luxury Brazil hotel is located in the center of Brasilia city, making this a good luxury Brazil hotel to stay in for any business or leisure trip to the capital of Brazil. The decor of the hotel is modern. Facilities at this luxury hotel include an outdoor swimming pool and mini-bar in each of its rooms.

* Manhattan Plaza Manhattan Plaza is a 17-floor high-rise mid-range Brazil hotel located centrally in Manhattan Plaza. The hotel has superb modern services and facilities, including deposit box services and cable/satellite television in each room. Facilities in the hotel also include an outdoor swimming pool and an area reserved for children to swim in. The staff service in the hotel has also received high praise.
* Aracoara Hotel A modern high-rise (13-floors), this 113 room hotel is located 6 miles from the airport. Facilities at the hotel include on-suite bathrooms and balcony/terraces. You could certainly do a lot worse in cheap Brazil hotels than the Aracoara hotel, Brasilia!
Brazil Hotels - Sao Paulo As the commercial capital of Brazil, hotels in San Paulo range from the finest - and most expensive - hotels in Brazil to cheap Brazil hotels. Hopefully the following three will meet you every need during your stay in the commercial capital of Brazil:
*Caesar Park Luxury hotels in Brazil tend to have a wide range, but Caesar Park is considered one of the elite luxury hotels Brazil has to offer. With 165 rooms (17 floors), room-rates include free breakfast and buffet. However, what makes this a truly spectacular luxury hotel is its amenities, which include Internet access in each of its bedrooms and probably one of the best hotel gyms in Brazil - the Reebok Gym. Facilities in this luxury Brazil hotel also include luxury spa and massage services.
* Normandie Design Hotel TheNormandie Design Hotel is a 190 room (16 floors) mid-priced hotel in Brazil. Located in downtown Sao Paulo, facilities at the hotel include tennis courts, [golf] driving range and a games room. The hotel also offers guests complementary breakfasts. Comparable to other Brazil hotels, this hotel may well be considered high-range if it were located anywhere other than San Paulo
* Best Western Regent Park Suite Hotel This cheap Brazil hotel is located on one of the trendiest streets in Sao Paulo, Rua Oscar Freire. Built in 1989, and currently with 70 rooms, located over 12-floors, the hotel is considered the place to stay among the trendy and hip - who hang-out around the outside swimming pool!
Brazil Hotels - Rio de Janeiro Rio is one of the most sought after holiday destinations in the world. As such, most of the big name hotel chains maintain a presence somewhere in the city. Also, due to the vastness of Rio, visitors to Rio can elect to stay at one the Brazil hotels near the beach, or somewhere more inland. Needless to say though, the following are always sought after:
* Copacabana Palace Hotel The 1923 classic Copacabana Palace Hotel is ideally located on the beach and conveniently situated near both Rio"s nightlife and commercial center. The 107 room (10 floors) hotel is described as catering to your every Brazil hotel need and amenities and facilities include outdoor tennis court, swimming pool and [golf] driving range.
* Praia Ipanema Hotel Built in 1980 the Praia Ipanema Hotel has 90 rooms (over 19 floors) and is located in the residential area of Rio. However, this hotel is special in that each of the rooms has a balcony overlooking one of Rio"s most beautiful and charming beaches - providing spectacular views of the ocean! Facilities at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool. But, this is another of Brazil"s hotels that advertises the fact that it is within walking distance of delightful sand and sea!
Ipanema Inn If you are going to stay at a cheap Brazil hotel anywhere, stay in a cheap Brazil hotel in Rio de Janeiro! Ipanema Inn has 56 rooms (9 floors) and is located next to the beach and shopping center of the same name - Ipanema. Close by the hotel are a range of restaurants, cafe, theaters and entertainment, not to mention sightseeing, venues that will ensure your stay here is a pleasant one. After all, staying in a cheap Brazil hotel should give you the chance to spend more of your money on the many Rio attractions out there!

Cusco Hotels

The Cusco Peru hotels probably do the best business in the country, mostly because the city is the main stop for trips to Machu Picchu. That isn’t all, though. Cusco was once the center of the great Inca civilization, and old Inca walls can still be found in the city, some serving as bases for secondary Spanish structures. There is a great colonial feel to Cusco, and seeing the native people about town gives you the feeling that you are truly not in Kansas anymore. Cusco is also the point from which people usually embark on expeditions into the Sacred Valley, and with cities like Arequipa and Puno relatively close by, you can understand why it is a haven, or mecca of sorts, for visitors to Peru. It is a good idea to make Cusco hotel reservations in advance during the high season, which is generally June-August. Thanks to the internet, you can make Cusco hotel reservations before you even leave your house. If the following recommendations for Cusco Peru hotels are a bit out of your budget, there are plenty of Cusco hostels available.
Even if you did not make Cusco hotel reservations in advance, the huge selection of Cusco Peru hotels means that you can pretty much show up here and find agreeable lodging. Though a good number of Cuzco hotels are centrally located, you might opt to stay a bit outside of the city center, where you will find the exceptional Torre Dorada hotel. If you need to get downtown, which is just 5 minutes away, the hotel will take you back and forth, and it is hard to top the hotel’s boutique character. The Torre Dorada might just have the friendliest staff around, which goes a long way in making your Cusco experience as good as it can be. The rooms here are nice and clean, and though simple, they are great for the price. The Torre Dorada has laundry service and airport pickup, and the TV lounge is nice for just hanging out. Besides the incomparable staff, the included breakfast buffet may just be the best thing here. Simply put, if you choose to stay at the Torre Dorada, you will almost surely love it. If you don’t, you will be part of a very, very small minority.
If you are looking for a great room at a great price when searching the options for Cuzco hotels, you can feel extra good about staying at the Niños Hotel. The name of the hotel translates to “Children’s Hotel”, and the Dutch owner devotes all profits to her efforts to help disadvantaged local kids. This is surely a place where you will want to make your Cusco hotel reservations in advance, as it can sometimes be booked for months. The location of the Niños Hotel is excellent, as it is close to the Plaza de Armas, and your rates include a very good continental breakfast. There are about 20 units here, some with bathrooms and others with shared bathrooms, and the rooms are large and more than suitable for the low price. Supposedly, the hotel has expanded recently as well. The inexpensive laundry service should prove helpful, and seeing the school children about the establishment makes the experience all the more authentic. If you want to help the cause at the “Children’s Hotel”, you can always pack school supplies, tooth brushes and anything else you want to give.
Many people who are familiar with Cusco and the Cusco hotels would recommend that you stay in the neighborhood of San Blas, where some of the neatest artisan shops are found. You can even have some of these skilled craftspeople custom make goods for you. San Blas also boasts some pretty funky cafes and galleries. A wonderful hotel that features a great staff, the Casa San Blas boutique hotel is ideally located, and its terrace offers great views of the city. The Casa San Blas has computers with internet access that you can use, and the 24-hour room service doesn’t hurt matters. Laundry service and an on-site restaurant help to make your stay enjoyable, and if you pay a little extra on top of the really good rates, then you can stay in a two-level suite with a kitchenette and views that are worth every penny. Breakfast is included with the price of your room.
If you are looking for the finest in Cuzco hotels, look no further than the Hotel Monasterio, which is housed in the San Antonio Abad monastery. Built in 1532, the property became a hotel in 1995, and it maintains plenty of its Old World charm. The Hotel Monasterio features elegant and luxurious rooms, all of which exude modern styles while not compromising the colonial integrity of the complex. Because the hotel was once a monastery, the rooms here vary in size and shape, but all are deluxe and unique. If you are heading off to Machu Picchu, you will likely run into other travelers headed that way in the morning, as you enjoy a lovely breakfast. Come dinner, you might choose to eat at the hotel restaurant, Illary, which is arguably the best restaurant in the city. Simply walking the courtyards at the Hotel Monasterio is practically worth the price of admission, and should you be feeling the effects of the altitude on your mind and body, you can pay a bit extra to have oxygen pumped into your room. This hotel is found on the list of Leading Small Hotels of the World, and there is little doubt as to why. According to some, it is the best hotel in all of Peru.

Warsaw's Luxury Hotel

Not so long ago, Warsaw's luxury hotel scene consisted of a couple of cockroach-ridden establishments that seemed straight out of a John Le Carre Cold War thriller. To say that things have changed since 1990 would be something of a gross understatement. Out went the bugs - both the insect and the intelligence kind - and in came the spas, the swimming pools and the underfloor heating. As the capital of Poland, Warsaw immediately took the lead over Cracow as a business hub. A cluster of smart hotels sprung up, complemented by a clutch of cosmopolitan restaurants. Yet although Cracow seemed to have the edge as a tourist destination, something changed around 2005, when trendy travel journalists were suddenly leaping to dub Warsaw as the peak of hip. These days, Warsaw's luxury hotels come in all shapes and sizes. You can set yourself up in an exquisitely restored pre-war classic that's steeped in history, or bask in boutique bliss at one of the city's more diminutive exclusive hotels.
Above: The swimming pool of Le Regina, one of Warsaw's most popular luxury hotelsTop of many traveller's lists will be the Hotel Rialto. Art Deco rules the roost here, and fittingly so. The Rialto is an affectionate tribute to the era when Warsaw was one of Europe's chicest cities. During the 20's and 30's, Poland produced a galaxy of Art Deco wonders following her triumph at the Paris Exhibition of 1925. With its svelte, jazz age style, Hotel Rialto seems tailor-made for vampish film stars brandishing voguish cigarette holders - the place would have fitted in perfectly in Peter Jackson's King Kong. This is the hotel to book for a weekend of fun.Another boutique style beauty is Le Regina. Winning top marks for luxury, this hotel has made its home in the laid back New Town. We say new, but this part of Warsaw was originally christened the New Town in 1402. Its cobbled streets were amongst the first to be revitalised after the Second World War, and today it's one of Warsaw's most picturesque spots. Le Regina has set up shop in a former nobleman's palace, but there's nothing remotely fusty about the place. Expect cool modern interiors in creamy shades, complemented by a host of quirky furniture. There's a hint of Scandinavian chic about the place, with smooth-finished wooden surfaces and elegant yet unfussy fabrics. Le Regina was voted Poland's most prestigious hotel by Forbes Magazine, and its five stars are well-merited.Staying in five star territory, but moving to a more traditional incarnation of the luxury hotel, the Bristol Royal Meridien deserves a special mention. This neoclassical belter is one of the historic hotels of Europe, immaculately renovated in 1991. Previous guests have included Charles de Gaulle, Marlene Dietrich, Douglas Fairbanks, Bill Clinton and pantomime favourite Maggie Thatcher. With its home on the Royal Way, the hotel has location, location, location - guests can step right out into the buzzing heart of Warsaw. This is the grandest hotel in the capital, and it has some presidential suites to match.Changing the tune again, but remaining in the luxury hotels bracket, there are a number of business style hotels that are also worth a look. The Sheraton offers the first class standards that you'd expect. The Intercontinental also has plenty of appeal. One of its winning features is a swimming pool right up on the 42nd floor. The view is square on the Palace of Culture. In other words, absolutely unforgettable. Another popular choice is the Westin, famed for its space age lift. Next door is the Radisson SAS, another reliable venue for business travellers. Both these hotels boast a handy central location, and travellers with time to spare can discover the Nozyk synagogue just over the road - Warsaw's oldest surviving example.Given the exhilarating pace of change these days, travellers can count on more luxury hotels in Warsaw popping up soon. So watch this space for news of new additions. Meanwhile you can click on to link to book the finest Warsaw hotels of the moment!
